TATU Adventures is a travel company that makes a difference. We are a branch of TATU Project, a non-profit organisation working towards the sustainable development of the rural communities of Msitu wa Tembo and Londoto in northern Tanzania. We are a social business meaning that all profits from our tours and daytrips directly support the long-term sustainability of the TATU Project. This means that by travelling with TATU Adventures, you’re directly supporting TATU Project’s work.

We are dedicated to providing travellers with authentic and unforgettable travel experiences, whilst contributing to the responsible tourism offering in and around Moshi. TATU means ‘Three’ in Swahili and in line with the slogan for the United Nations International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, the 3 pillars this represents for TATU Adventures are: TRAVEL, ENJOY, RESPECT.
